One time or recurring

We rely solely on individual donations, non-governmental grants, and private corporate gifts.

Your gifts, both large and small, enable us to feed our neighbors, fight hunger in our community, and meet people's most basic and essential needs. Please consider making a one-time donation or a monthly, recurring gift. We work hard to keep our overhead very low and put every dollar to use in providing food and other goods to our Walworth County guests.

Investment Accounts, a note from our Development Director

Did you know that you can make a meaningful impact on our mission by giving directly from your investment accounts? Making a gift through your ROTH IRA or other retirement accounts is a smart way to support our work while maximizing your giving potential.

Benefits of Giving Through Your Investment Accounts:

  • Tax Advantages: If you're 70½ or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA, reducing your taxable income.
  • Ease and Flexibility: Direct gifts from your ROTH IRA can support our mission without affecting your cash flow.
  • Amplify Your Legacy: Your investment-based donation can have a lasting impact on families facing food insecurity and economic challenges.

How to Get Started:

  • Consult your financial advisor or IRA custodian to understand the specifics of your account.
  • Inform your IRA administrator that you’d like to make a charitable gift to The Bridge Food and Diaper Bank
  • Let us know about your gift so we can thank you and ensure your contribution is applied to the programs you care about most.

If you’d like to learn more about giving through investment accounts, please contact Elizabeth at elizabeth@thebridgewalco.org or 708-212-4728. Together, we can turn your investments into life-changing services for our neighbors in need!
